Latest rules and quick update
about 3 years ago – Thu, Apr 29, 2021 at 11:16:16 AM

Ladies & Gentlemen,

We're playing a waiting game. Between us, our manufacturer and our logistics partners we're trying to find way to get our containers moving to the fulfillment centers in Europe, USA and Canada. For now, we have a bunch of promises and bookings, but the reality looks a bit harsher - bookings get postponed or simply canceled and we're having a hard time moving getting the games on the move, even though we have agreed to prices much higher than we've been used to.

The Suez Canal blocked a month ago has created a new blockage on the shipping market and we're suffering now the consequences - at least this is what we hear from the big players in the industry.

As we receive good news, we will post new updates, in the meantime the only consolation prize we have is the latest iteration of the rules:

 Dark Ages: Holy Roman Empire

 Dark Ages: Heritage of Charlemagne

Have a great week,

Andrei

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Below you will find several photos of the final components on Dark Ages. They are photos of the absolutely final product, a mass production box which was sent to us ahead of our overseas shipping:

Have a great week,

Shipping update
about 3 years ago – Fri, Apr 02, 2021 at 06:06:08 AM

Ladies & Gentlemen,

It has been a long wait, but we're getting close to the finish line. We're in talks with FedEx Logistics to secure transport for Dark Ages to all fulfillment centers (EU, US, Canada, Asia) and we're now jumping through the final hurdles. The situation with the Suez Canal being block for a week has put a small dent in our efforts, as the number of available containers in China has again dropped quite drastically, but we are confident that around 20-Apr we will be able to set in motion the overseas shipping to all fulfillment centers. From that point on it will be around 60 days until we can begin the actual local fulfillment.

Addresses can still be changed, and we estimate that in May we will have to lock them.

In the meantime it is all about patience: we - just like you - have to wait and hope that external factors beyond our control won't bring additional delays.

Stay safe and Happy Easter,

Andrei

Update on shipping date to fulfillment centers
about 3 years ago – Thu, Feb 25, 2021 at 01:19:56 AM

Ladies & Gentlemen,

With Dark Ages almost out of the factory gate, the biggest hurdle remains finding shipping options to our fulfillment centers in Europe, USA and Canada.

Since we still have shipments waiting in the port since the first half of January, the best we can estimate right now (based on our discussion with logistics partners) is that we will be able to ship out Dark Ages in the second half of April. No matter how much we're willing to pay for these shipments, there are simply no vessels available before that period of time. The backlog in the Chinese ports has lasted past the Chinese New Year and the expectations are that pricing will not drop and the crazy outgoing traffic will continue well into the spring.

We are doing our best to minimize the delay, and we will keep you informed. With our apologies, right now it looks like the best estimation for delivery from most fulfillment centers will be June.

Have a great week,

Andrei

Shipping update
about 3 years ago – Mon, Feb 08, 2021 at 02:52:30 AM

Ladies & Gentlemen,

The Chinese New Year is upon us and, as expected, production is almost ready, with key word here being almost. With our factory returning to work in about 2 weeks, we expect that production will finish soon after that.

However, that has no impact on the delivery date, as we are facing a bigger problem: the shortage of containers and space on vessels from China to pretty much all destinations will most likely cause a delay, as detailed in the previous update. We have another two shipments ready and waiting at the factory, for which we have not yet been able to find viable solutions to ship to USA and Europe. Based on latest info from our carries, it looks like we'll need to wait for the end of March to be able to find a ship out of Shanghai, and even that is not confirmed.

Sorry for the delay, we're doing our best to find any solution. We will keep you posted on this as events unfold.

Have a great week,

Andrei
